Meet this Podcast’s Girl Boss

Hi! I’m Honora- the girl boss behind this podcast. I’m a former EMMY nominated journalist turned communications director. My dream job? Executive director of a nonprofit and mom. I can check off one of those goals thanks to two girl bosses in training who call me “Mommy.”

Even as I near my “mid-life,” I still find myself creating new goals and dreaming about my future “when I grow up.” I hear those four words often around my house from my daughters. But I often find myself meeting incredibly inspiring girl bosses living out their dreams and crushing their goals. I often find myself thinking, “when I grow up, I want to be just like her.”

One of my dreams was to start a podcast. For years, I flirted with possible names for a working mom podcast. But nothing seemed to fit. Why? That’s a great question. It’s also the answer. I wanted to find ways and help other moms simplify their daily routines. My focus was on the day to day tasks, not the motivation behind those every day actions. Inspiration comes from our why or the thing(s) in our life that bring us passion. For the girls and women out their crushing their goals, they’ve found their why. By sharing their journeys, I hope to inspire you and help you and the young women in your life find their why.
